On November 1, the New York University Asia Alumni Conference, themed “Bay Area Dialogue: When Shenzhen Meets New York,” was held in Shenzhen.

On November 22, the “Green Corridor Challenge” and the 13th Walk the Road of Love event was successfully held. The event was hosted by Shanghai New York University and co-organized by the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Urban Design and Urban Science (LOUD). More than 80 faculty members, staff, and students from Shanghai New York University participated in a seven-kilometer urban walk. Starting from the Qiantan Campus, the route passed through riverside parks and concluded at the Expo Central SOE Headquarters. Along the way, participants engaged in interactive activities and lectures to learn about environmental protection, measuring the green city with their footsteps and putting a healthy, low-carbon, and sustainable lifestyle into practice through action.

On November 11, 2025, Professor Jianguo Lin—Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (UK), Fellow of the Academia Europaea, Chair Professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Professor Emeritus at Imperial College London, and former Head of the Department of Materials and Mechanics at Imperial College London—along with Lin Xiao, Director of the Pudong New Area Development and Reform Commission, led a delegation to visit the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Urban Design and Urban Science (LOUD). The group engaged in exchanges focusing on topics including the research and practice of lightweight technology, and the "Lightweight City" initiative.
