Qi is a PhD candidate in Urban Systems program at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and a research fellow at the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Urban Design and Urban Science. He received his MS in Urban Planning from Columbia University and his MArch from the University of Southern California. His research leverages machine learning and spatial analysis to investigate energy-efficient cities and urban form, aiming to support sustainable city development.
