Yeji Choi

Yeji Choi is a doctoral student at NYU Wagner and NYU Shanghai. Her research links urban green space design to climate adaptation, environmental justice, and public health. Before her Ph.D., she worked for four years as a forestry scientist at the National Institute of Forest Science in South Korea, leading projects that combined large-scale data and field measurements to evaluate how urban forests reduce heat, improve air quality, and support community health, while developing policy-relevant forest structure models.
