Jianqi Yu is a doctoral candidate in urban ecology through the N.E.T. Program, jointly operated by East China Normal University and NYU Shanghai. Jianqi's research focuses on bird diversity in urban blue-green spaces and human-bird symbiosis, which involves both physical and acoustic spatial suitability. The research combines the knowledge of island biogeography and ecological network planning in ecology and applies it to urban planning.
