Xiong Yue is a PhD student of Professor Guan, jointly trained by the NYU Shanghai and East China Normal University. She holds a Master degree of Environment and sustainable development in University College London. With a dual background of ecology and urban studies, her research research interests lie in the social sensing of green infrastructure and sustainable urban development. By applying urban big data, social media data and semantic analysis, she aims to explore the interaction of the ecological and social impact of green infrastructure, especially in global South and vulnerable regions.
